Our history at DIKTEON Medical Diagnostic Center, highlights our continuous efforts to improve and upgrade our facilities, equipment and services, always maintaining the our human-centered character.
- 2022
New Facilities Added (2nd Floor)
In 2022, DIKTEON successfully completed the new medical facilities on the 2nd floor, providing the opportunity for new doctors to set up their medical offices / examination rooms. The DIKTEON Medical Diagnostic Center holds a leading position in the medical community in our country, both in terms of efficiency and prestige and quality of medical services. We will continue with tireless zeal and perseverance to defend the quality of life of our fellow human beings by providing them with high-level scientific medical services.
- 2021
Installation of Digital Mammography for 3D Mammography (Tomosynthesis)
In collaboration with the manufacturer General Electric, our medical center completed the installation of the state-of-the-art GE Essential Mammograph. The new digital mammograph is equipped with dynamic software that allows for the acquisition of Tomosynthesis images and, without additional radiation, reproduces the images on the Radiologist's computer for the best possible diagnostic study.
- 2020
Installation of Modern Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner
In September 2020, we completed the installation of a new, state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner from the manufacturer General Electric, capable of performing all MRI examinations, as well as high-quality cardiac tomographies that cover the entire spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.
- 2019
Board of Directors' Decision for GHS Registration
In September 2019, following a decision by the Board of Directors, our Medical Diagnostic Center and its medical team achieved full registration with the General Healthcare System (GHS). DIKTEON Medical Diagnostic Center fully shares the logic and social benefit that the implementation of the General Healthcare System (GHS) would bring and actively participates in the System's framework to this day.

New Facilities Added (Ground Floor & 1st Floor)
In 2019, DIKTEON Medical Diagnostic Center successfully completed the new medical facilities on the ground floor and 1st floor, providing the opportunity for several new doctors to set up their medical offices and examination rooms.
- 2017
Installation of Orthopantomograph (2D & 3D Dental Panoramic X-ray)
In 2017, DIKTEON Medical Diagnostic Center invested in the installation of the new Planmeca Pro Max and in the training of our Radiologic Technologists in Finland to offer the best 3D dental imaging, panoramic examinations, dental measurements with splints, and cephalometric imaging.
- 2016
Radiology Department
In 2016, DIKTEON Medical Diagnostic Center created a modern, reputable, and comprehensive Radiology Department. We installed high-tech equipment from serious manufacturers such as General Electric, Siemens, and Philips, offering a wide range of diagnostic examinations. We installed high-resolution diagnostic monitors from the world's best manufacturer, N-Vizor Japan, so that our Radiologists (Radiodiagnosticians) can perform detailed and accurate diagnostic examinations. We invested in the training of our Radiologists and Radiologic Technologists to offer valuable medical services to all patients.

The Difficult Years of Private Medicine
The onset of the economic crisis in Cyprus in 2013 directly affected the course of private medicine. Our medical center and its medical team managed the economic crisis with utmost seriousness and humanity, offering low-cost medical services to all patients. We managed to create a new strategy that, combined with the quality of our medical services, allowed us to maintain our human-centered character and the fundamental principles of our patients' health.

Establishment of DIKTEON Medical Center
Our history begins when the DIKTEON Medical Diagnostic Center was founded in 2010 by Cypriot Doctors with the aim of offering high-level services in the field of Diagnostic and Interventional medicine.
