PCR TEST
The PCR molecular method of analysis is based on the detection of viral particles. A certain number of viral particles must be detected for the test to be positive.
The test only identifies antigen, not antibodies.
RAPID TEST
The rapid test is recommended during this phase of the pandemic, when rapid detection of positive cases is necessary to stop the transmission of the disease.
It is indicated for people who have symptoms, in order to determine whether or not they are infected with the virus. It is also indicated for asymptomatic persons, provided that they meet the relevant epidemiological criteria.
