Coronavirus detection tests (COVID-19)<\/h4>Molecular Detection (PCR) and Rapid Detection (RAPID)<\/span><\/span><\/div>
All detection tests coronavirus (Covid-19)<\/a><\/span><\/strong> – molecular detection (PCR) and rapid detection (RAPID) tests are performed under conditions of complete safety, both for subjects and staff, under the supervision of the Chemistry – Clinical Laboratory<\/a><\/span><\/strong> under the supervision of our Laboratory and Laboratory-Laboratory here at DIKTEON and in collaboration with the MEGALAB<\/a><\/span><\/strong> for molecular detection tests.<\/div>

PCR TEST<\/span><\/p>\n

The PCR<\/strong> molecular method of analysis <\/strong> is based on the detection of viral particles. A certain number of viral particles must be detected for the test to be positive. <\/p>\n

The test only identifies antigen, not antibodies.<\/p>\n

RAPID TEST<\/span><\/p>\n

The rapid test<\/strong> is recommended during this phase of the pandemic, when rapid detection of positive cases is necessary to stop the transmission of the disease.<\/p>\n

It is indicated for people who have symptoms, in order to determine whether or not they are infected with the virus. It is also indicated for asymptomatic persons, provided that they meet the relevant epidemiological criteria. <\/p>\n
