Preparing for the CMR Test

General instructions

• Removing Metal Objects: remove all metal objects (jewellery, watches, watches, glasses, headphones, make-up with metal particles).On arrival: You will be asked to wear a special medical suit and remove all metal objects.
• Placement: Lie down on the MRI table, which will move slowly into the MRI chamber.
• Examination: stay still during the examination. It takes 30-60 minutes, depending on the type of MRI. You may be asked to hold your breath for a few seconds at certain times.
• Contact: Contact the technologist via microphone and headphones if you feel discomfort.
• Use ofContrast: In some tests, contrast material may be administered through a vein for better visualization.
